Our Optometrist
With over 20 years experience, Doug is well-known for a highly professional, friendly and caring approach to eyecare.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Optometry (with Honours) from the University of Melbourne. He has also completed post-graduate certification in Ocular Therapeutics at UNSW, and enjoys keeping up-to-date with the latest advances, attending major annual conferences held by optometrists and ophthalmologists. Doug has also been involved in clinical training of university students in Optometry and Medicine. Doug’s special clinical interests include glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and children’s vision.
Doug is passionate about frame and lens design, and combining fashion with the latest technology to achieve the best vision possible combined with the most comfortable frame fit.
Outside the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his young family.
